allerdings habe ich mit dem neueren laptop konvertiert.
der hat im gegensatz zum alten rechner (FAT32) das dateisystem NTFS.
dennoch vermute ich, dass das problem eine interne beschränkung von wavelab war.
wie auch immer, danke für die ratschläge.

wenn du sicherheit haben willst, versuchs einfach unter NTFS mal mit wavelab..
